I am a professional photographer with nearly 20 years of experience across commercial, editorial, and fine art work. On set, I specialize in capturing stills that not only document the production process but also translate the cinematic mood and atmosphere into striking standalone images. My background in both photography and film production allows me to anticipate key moments and work seamlessly alongside production crews without disruption. My work has been recognized internationally, this year alone I was a selected winner for American Photography 41 and as a finalist in the Gomma Books, 2025 Black and White Awards. I bring a sharp eye for lighting, composition, and storytelling, ensuring that every frame contributes to the larger narrative of the project.
With a history of film production as an AC and Camera Operator, I understand how sets work. I have a strong creative pedigree and worked with high level clients such as: Acura, the Sundance Film Festival, Rivian, FEMA and Sunrun to name a few. I was an inductee of the Magnum Photos long term mentorship program. In 2022, I collaborated with author J.J. Anselmi on our book: "Out Here On Our Own: An Oral History of an American Boomtown", published by the University of Nebraska Press. Additionally my work has been published in fine are books by Zone, Hamburger Eyes, Booooooom, and Editions Le Mulet. I have photo essays published on Popular Mechanics and High Country News. In 2024 I was invited as an inductee of the Spanish film archive, Audioteca Fotografica for my work focusing on the American West.
