Rahul Barkley is an up and coming BIPOC filmmaker based out of Salt Lake City.With experience in both narrative and documentary style filmmaking, Rahul is passionate about telling meaningful stories and aims to capture the perspectives of the weird and underrepresented. His short film PRAYER (2021) premiered at the University of Utah's 2021 Film & Media Arts Spring Showcase and received the Distribution Award. During his time as a student at the University of Utah, Rahul worked on a variety of short films and was the Executive Director of View from the U Productions where he oversaw and managed all operations of the student-run video production studio. Since graduating with a degree in both Film & Media Arts as well as Strategic Communications, he has begun pre-production on his next short film titled FLIPPING, set to release in 2022
