Description
Sean Stiegemeier is a Park City-based Director and Cinematographer with a passion for visual storytelling. Though spending his childhood ski racing and attending Park City's Winter Sports School, alongside numerous Olympians, he eventually chose to pursue his love for filmmaking in Los Angeles. Sean holds a bachelor's degree from Chapman University and master's degree in cinematography from the American Film Institute, where his thesis won the 2007 ASC Heritage award for excellence behind the lens. He has furthered his education and knowledge of the latest and most up-to-date camera technology through traveling the world shooting films and commercials. Thanks to his background in skiing, Sean possesses a unique athletic ability that complements his understanding of natural lighting, motion and eye for cinematic greatness. Whether he is chasing his friend Ted Ligety on skis, or shooting feature films later premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, Sean always puts storytelling first.
