As a set dresser based in Utah, I have had the privilege of working on a variety of film projects, both union and non-union. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for bringing stories to life through visual design, I approach each project with enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence.
Set design and dressing: I have experience working with art directors and production designers to create sets that effectively convey the intended mood and atmosphere of a scene.Use of tools and equipment: I am comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment including screw guns, drills, saws, staplers, nail guns, etc. I even have a toolkit of my own that I bring to each project!Attention to detail: I understand that every detail matters in creating an immersive environment for a film. I am meticulous in my work and strive to achieve a high level of accuracy and authenticity in every set I design.Collaboration: I work effectively with other members of the production team, including carpenters, painters, and decorators, to ensure that the final product meets the creative vision of the project.Union experience: While I am not currently affiliated with any unions, I have worked on a couple of union projects in the past, including as a set dresser on a feature film, shot locally.Local film projects: I have also worked on a number of non-union projects in the Utah film industry, including commercials, short films, and independent features.Equipment: In addition to my own tool kit, I also have experience working with various types of materials, including wood, metal, fabric, and paint.Background: My background includes a partial degree in fine arts and a passion for creating visually compelling designs that enhance the overall impact of a film.
