I grew up making short films on the west side of SLC. Eventually, I decided to attend the University of Utah where I founded the Film Production Club, a student organization that provides funding for original short films made by students and alumni. While at the U, I also had the opportunity to lead the video production team for ADthing, an advertising agency ran out of the U. I graduated in 2023 as the outstanding senior of the film department.My experience with organization, networking, and a wide variety of roles on set lends itself perfectly for Assistant Directing. These skills combined with my technical knowledge also lends itself to my experience as an Editor and Colorist where I am open for commissions.
While most of my experience has been in Assistant Directing, Producing, and Directing I am also a commissioned editor and colorist with experience working mostly on narrative and documentary films.I am certified through the UFC - PA certification program and have attended the producing workshops they provided in collaboration with the Artist Foundry.I've worked with Blank Space as a camera operator and editor where we created video projects for a variety of non-profits and government organizations such as the Utah Film Commision.I currently work for Slamdance Film Festival as their Media Manager where I am an active member in producing screenings and networking event in SLC, Park City, and LA. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am also producing my own screening called Post Credits, a celebration of University of Utah alumni filmmakers who continue to create original short and feature films after college.
