Loren is passionate about telling dynamic and engaging visual stories and jumps at the chance to create films to inspire and move. She honed her documentary film chops at 21st Century Fox, Lucasfilm, and Zoetrope before moving to Utah to freelance in feature films and television. Here, Loren worked in the production trenches as a Production Coordinator and Production Manager before joining the corporate world of Adobe to shoot customer stories in every region of the world. After spending 10 years at Adobe as a Senior Video Producer and then Executive Producer on the Creative Studio team, she left to UPM one of the first feature films in Utah to receive the SAG waiver for independent films during the actors’s strike in 2023. She is deeply connected to local Utah crews, talent, vendors and locations, and she’s a fierce supporter of bringing resources to the state to benefit the local film and video community. She is also heavily involved in arts education initiatives and community engagement. Loren currently serves on the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Utah, the Utah Arts Festival, and RISE Culinary Academy. She is active with the Motion Picture Association of Utah and on the Executive Council of United Way Women United, and she is a past board member of the Alta Club and the Junior League of Salt Lake City. Loren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema-Television Critical Studies from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies from San Francisco State University. She left a Pre-Doctoral research program at the University of California, Berkeley to pursue a mad dream of making documentary films at Skywalker Ranch.
