As a rebreather specialist Michael is called on to oversee complicated dive operations in order to get blue chip filming inside flooded caves, beneath the ice, in deep, cold or otherwise challenging environments. Frequently using new rebreather technology including with a full face masks and comms all while simultaneously managing experimental camera systems, lights, custom grip and dive safety. Closed Circuit Rebreather equipment allows Michael to stay underwater for up to 6 hours at a time with no bubbles. This is the best way to document underwater marine life without disturbing them. Michael has lots of experience with the most technical types of SCUBA diving including underwater Caves, Shipwreck penetration, Under Ice and in extreme and deep environments.Has all his own equipment including RED Gemini with housing and variety of lens including macro probe lens. Underwater tripos, fluid heads, video lights, grip etc all available for rent on productions Michael is working on. Michael also acts as Dive Safety Officer on underwater filming and scientific projects overseeing all dive operations and planning.
