My name is Jill Gann and I am a California State Certified Studio Teacher who has taught everything from Pre-K through 12th grade. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California - Davis. And after 10 years of competing as a professional athlete I returned to school to earn my Multiple Subject Credential and Learning Handicapped Specialist Credential from California State University - San Marcos. I later obtained my Single-Subject Teaching Credential in English, Literature and Composition. I am a union member of IATSE Local 884, and I am available to work on both union and non-union jobs. I am familiar with CA and UT state labor laws as well as SAG regulations regarding employment of minors.
My experience in the entertainment industry as a studio teacher, and also as a child wrangler, spans 25 plus years in film, television, commercial, music productions, animation, and print. I have traveled to all parts of the world for work and personal enjoyment. My family, which consists of my husband and three wonderful young adults, are all involved in the entertainment industry. I absolutely love my job and all the unique situations I find myself in while providing education and welfare for minors working in the entertainment industry. I take great pride in my work by providing a quality and efficient education to minors and by being acutely aware of their mental and physical well being. Naturally, I always bring a positive and helpful attitude to set; even in extreme climates and environments. My main focus in this industry is to come up with solutions to problems while maintaining the integrity and standards of my profession. My teaching specialties include English, Literature and Composition, Spanish 1 and 2, Algebra and Geometry.
