I'm recently new to Utah. I have about 15 years of experience working on film & video production sets. I started my film career adventure in 2008 by enrolling into film school, I learned how to shoot, light and edit video using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. How I started out working in the industry was by working as a production assistant when I was in my first year in college. I went from being a production assistant then getting some experience in the grip & electric to the camera department being a camera assistant, to camera operator, and DIT on a handful of projects over time. While I was in collage earning my degree I worked Hollywood features and Indi-feature film sets to high-level car commercial production shoots. I finished film school in 2013, I truly wanted to be a cinematographer because I enjoy the process of working with the light and the camera. I got my first job working for Microsoft Studios at Channel 9 studios as there main videographer and video editor in 2014. I filmed a lot of events, internal case study videos and weekly tech video tutorial shoots. Working for Microsoft gave me a lot of travel experience domestically and internationally to seven different countries. It boosted my confidence to work with high-level executives and all different types of people. After working six years years at Microsoft I started to work as a independent contractor and started my business working and providing services to local video production companies. Today I get hired a lot of camera department jobs as a camera operator or director of photography on corporate and commercial video shoots. I take on grip and electric jobs as well.
- Owner of a full off-grid sprinter van built for a mobile camera department office and DIT work station that offers remote power for all devices. - Owner Operator of Sony, Red, Canon and Blackmagic digital cinema camera's.- I shoot a lot in the winter for several snowboard brands, I have a lot backcountry experience hauling gear up mountains during winter or warmer months.- Still Photography both studio and outdoors shoots.- Freefly Movi & DJI gimbal Tech support from build to balancing- Operate ShotPutPro, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro for on-set DIT and post-production tools. I use most recent Apple Macbook Pro.- Operation of LED lighting fixtures Arri, Aperture, Lite Gear LED Mats. Also experienced with HMI Pars & fresnel lighting fixtures from Arri, Mole Richardson, Nanlite, Aputure and jokers. - I have a well understanding of all grip equipment and use of application on-set. Also a good amount of secure rigging experience as well both studio and on location shoots.
