As a writer, I recognise that storytelling doesn’t stop at the page-- narratives are built upon in every aspect of production, from acting to lighting to editing. Throughout university I have worked on student projects and taken several courses studying film, and I would jump at the opportunity to work as a production assistant and begin building my professional film portfolio.I am a quick learner and motivated to take on any task. I’ve worked on three short films with responsibilities outlined below:Spooked- Co-directed short film exploring two sides of a love letter- Composed shot list and acted as director of photography- Coordinated schedules with team of five cast and crew membersStuffed- Wrote and acted in short film about a couple getting stuck in an elevator- Coordinated with Cardinal Pictures in recruiting crew members- Assisted in set-up and break-down of equipmentSpigot- Co-directed short film about a man falling in love with a sink- Provided craft services- Managed script to maintain continuityFluent in Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian, otherwise adept at using Google Translate. I also enjoy writing and graphic design!
